Yes.

Most defensive tactic systems allow strikes to the head with your hands but not weapons(baton, PR-24, etc...)

Glad other folks posted the picture of the FB post from another fan. Don't know why so many people think it's OK to act like an arse at football games.

Can't imagine why any Ole Miss fan would be mad about anything during that game.

small town Mississippi cops can be real assholes. But this guy is probably a typical drunk obnoxious ole miss bro. He deserved it and needed that life lesson.

Popo was probably a state fans to boot.

yea, and people looking at your post who would click a video might not scroll to more of the info...but that wouldn't go with the police bashing of your post

Just bumping this old thread with an interesting update that can be found here: LINK

From the link:

A mug shot of an Ole Miss fan who was seen in a viral video being hit by police seems to show a difference in his injuries from when he was booked into after he was released.

The photo released by the Lafayette County Jail, timestamped 6:57 p.m. on Nov. 21, shows what looks to be cuts and abrasions by Chris Barnes' left eye, but does not appear to show any further damage. The photo released by the family, allegedly taken after he was released from jail, shows significant damage beyond that shown in the mug shot as described by Holly Barnes.

"I can say that there is a significant difference between the photos taken in our custody and the one released by the family on social media," said Potts.

TL;DR Version
