The thing is.. even if someone is on drugs.. not sure it's a justification to kill them if it's very much avoidable. I am not commenting towards this particular situation! I don't know all the details of all the actions. Just commenting to the notion someone deserves it for being on drugs.

You're not very good at putting multiple ideas and evidence together, are you?

Maybe, but you said that told you "all you needed to know".

So that, in your estimation, he was acting like a man high on PCP is all you need to know? What does that mean?

That is one likely fact......of many. So you base your opinion of the situation on that fact alone?

this was a reach from the beginning.

why would police have him retrieve his ID when it is safer for one them to do it.

Trust me on this, the dead man's lawyer just blew them out of the water with the death photo. Guy on the ground, hands still out, and blood smeared all the way down that "open window" and continues down the door.

Admitting that the female cop fricked up is too much for some here.

She had a horrible recollection.

Well these are the same cops who said he wouldn't comply with a hands-up order, until video proved otherwise. Not really surprising the lawyer of said cops will also run with a similar narrative that doesn't paint the cops in a bad light, that is until actual evidence proved them false again.

There's a reason why a lot in this thread are happy over the discovery of the PCP. They can act completely oblivious to law enforcement's lies because DRUGZ ZOMG

This shite happens all the time. The difference is you don't hear national media, social media, etc, talking about it.

Yep. Imagine if it had been white female with illegal prescription meds in the car. I'm sure the reaction would be the same.

No, but I'd say that busts a few arguments made in this thread. It also makes it far from an open and shut case of "a good shoot."

There is no evidence of a crime being committed just a citizen who's fearful his car will blowup
So their is reasonable suspension to assume he has a bomb in his car and he was going to activate it. Thanks. Not Guilty.

All it tells me is that it was in his possession which would justify an arrest AFTER the vehicle was searched. The possession of narcotics or even use of narcotics doesn't justify the killing of an unarmed man with his hands up. It may explain the potential scenario that he was uncooperative with police. I'll wait for the toxicology reports.

Not sure. I find it hard to believe, they pull weapons on someone and then tell them to go get something from a vehicle, then all rush in as he gets close. Not saying it didn't happen that way, just that it makes absolutely no sense that it did happen that way.

I still have a hard time believing at that point the police had any reasonable suspicion of a crime. All they knew at that point was his car wasn't functional...

Finding out he was high after the fact doesn't change the fact they didn't really have a reason to detain him.

It means that they act erratically, don't comply, and do things that an ordinary, sober person wouldn't normally do which could possibly cause the cops to shoot him.

Seriously, are you in 9th grade or just mentally handicapped?
