The officer has been identified. Turns out he was shot once. He must’ve caught it in his vest if they didn’t notice at first.

Totty, who joined the Baton Rouge Police Department in June 2014, is currently assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau. He has been placed on paid administrative leave per departmental policy, Coppola said.
