Just googled it, was 2 officers not 3.
Actually just 1 officer died, since your argument was "and often it's a police officer serving a "knock and announce" warrant who is killed." Apparently my google has better info than yours.
Did I say more than one officer died, and apparently your reading comprehension sucks.

Not that it matters
It actually does, as i searched for warrant related shootings in the last few weeks, and found none. Crazy to find out September was only a few weeks ago in your mind.
So because it was a few months ago, it's not relevant? What kind of fricked up shite is that?

Also sure that you will find a way to justify what the assailant did.
frick, you're dumb.
LOL, it's like I'm having a discussion with an 8 year old. Your reasoning skills are equally as unimpressive as your reading comprehension skills.

When doing so you'll find plenty of other instances including in Louisiana where this has happened since the FBI report you cited from 2019.
When 2020 or 2021 numbers are released, I'll gladly use them. Currently 2019 is the most recent year for statistics they've published.
Again, read real slowly so you understand. Your opinion of what often means is different than mine. I never implied that 'often" means more officers are killed serving warrants than persons who are being served. FYI, the word often means something has occurred many times.

If I'm dead asleep, what the frick good does that do me?
THAT's the problem.
Police act like the people IN the home should be well trained professionals able to be instantly aware the second they come barreling thru the door.
That's not even close to rational.
See, Shorty? It's posts like this that make me love you, man.
We agree on far more than you would want to admit.

Honk honk, back the blue, honk honk.
So that’s not a no knock warrant and the dude is literally firing rounds at them.

I pointed out the fact that the police knocked and while they were announcing the guy shot through the door. The whole point of the tread is that it was a "no knock warrant" which it wasn't. Moreover, when it's all said and done, their actions will be deemed justified regardless of your personal feelings.
got it its technically not a no-knock.
but its also not a proper knock and announce, which requires a reasonable amount of time for the occupant to acquiesce - 6 seconds just isn't a reasonable timeframe. SC has even ruled that 15-20 seconds was required for "quick knock"
this was not even an appropriate quick knock. circumstances were not exigent.

Bottom line, there is no safe way to serve a warrant, it's dangerous for all involved.
bottom line is some ways are safer than others - no-knock and quick-knock being more dangerous. the cops overaggressive shock and awe style elevated the unnecessary danger here. They were highly irresponsible+incompetent in their planning and execution - they were unaware the occupant was the wrong guy.
this is very embarrassing if no one faces consequences for this abortion of law enforcement. its a shame that innocent citizen encountered these POS thugs.

Why is it that when it’s a good ole country boy armed to the teeth, it’s a God fearing, Second Amendment loving patriot, but when it’s (shall we say) not a “good ole boy”, it’s an armed thug who was asking for the police to kill him?

What I do in the privacy of my own home is none of the State's fricking business.
FTR: Yes, I sleep with my nine in one hand, my dick in the other and my big toe up my girls arse.
That was an innocent citizen standing his ground in his own home.
