With your option 3, What sort of individual work on several teeth are we talking about in order to save your teeth?

Look for a dentist with experience, not a one stop shop. Usually need to get established and then have a consult to find out what’s best for your situation.

A dental school might be a cost effective option.

Lots conditions and medications cause your saliva glands to stop working…when that happens, your teeth decay very rapidly. I would say that’s the story with in excess of 90% of the folks who get dentures.

You give the best advice that this thread will probably offer.

But there are medical conditions, and 20,000 men and women with vaginal & hernia mesh that went into auto immune conditions. Which caused Vitamin depletion that lost teeth.

So it isn't always someone not taking care of their teeth/health.

Don't get a prostodindist in the US. You'll pay $4-6k a tooth if implants and a snap ins are high too.

Go to Thailand or Portugal. Or even Mexico.

Get your whole mouth done with permanent teeth for under $6k.

Teeth pulled and implants installed by an oral surgeon followed by acrylic crowns from a dentist is your best option.

I have a couple of patients from Turkey who come to the office just for cleanings but have their work done over there. What would cost 20-30k over here they get done for around 6-8k. And the work appears to be excellent. Medical and dental care is grossly overinflated in the US.

What type of medical problems aside from a crack cocaine or meth addiction makes you lose your teeth?

Head and neck cancers requiring radiation will nuke the saliva glands often resulting in widespread rapid tooth decay.
