I'll usually put a hundo at the table a play awhile. Normally bet the same numbers and then pick a couple outside my favs. Slow game and if you can hit a few times and have an efficient waitress, you can get a buzz for your money.

Any person that was awake during 9th grade math class the two days they covered probability and statistics would never set foot in a casino.

Good advice if you’re going there with the mindset to make money off the casino.
If you’re going there to hang out with friends, or significant other, for a few hours & just enjoy yourself then it’s not. People that go in with a set amount they are ok to lose just playing around are fine. We go maybe once a year. I go in with cash in pocket. Once it’s gone it’s gone. If I ever get to playing with house money I put my original back in my pocket, and don’t touch it again. When it’s time to leave it’s time to leave. Up, or down.

I wouldn't say free money but the double down theory works playing black and red with small bets.... But you need to bounce between red and black the entire time. I've seen that wheel deliver 11 straight rolls on red.... Just sayn

Here's some advice. My son dealt roulette for 4 or 5 years...
First there are two types of dealers. Regular and House dealers.
There is a method to picking up patterns of where balls will land. That requires a regular dealer who is consistent with his pic up and motion of throwing the ball. If the ball moves 10 spaces forward from the last throw and 11 spaces from the throw before that. Then look 10 spaces from the last throw and bet those numbers only and it cuts the wheel from 36 numbers to about 6-8. Hit a few times and you are good to go. The casino will allow that a bit... but then
The house dealer claps in....if you are up big....you should cash in and walk a winner. The house dealer will change the speed of the wheel constantly...there are two size balls which they will change. The can drop that ball wherever they want to. They get paid big buck to take it BACK. (In vegas put $100 on a number the dealer picked told him I would split 50/50 he hit it-gave him his half--pit boss took him off the table right after)
Gambling take patience and self control to be a winner occasionally... leave when you make a big lick...spend that money on things you can use. Dont go back expecting the same result.
But this works the best at roulette...counting
