Anyone ever experience it and if so , what did you do to remedy the problem?

Yep, i got some gellin insoles a couple weeks ago, and started wearing tennis shoes more than my flip flops, so far so good, but I only got it every couple of months

girl at work had it...looked like it hurt like hell...

she would freeze a bottle of water and roll her foot on it a few times per day...

not sure what she did to totally get rid of it, though...

i have had it. kind of comes and goes. have not had it in a couple years now. I found that wearing shoes with a slight heel or using heel pad insoles helped a lot.

Had it in highschool, very hard to walk. Gel soles and stretches every night. They now have a brace that keeps your foot slight pointed upwards to relieve the pain

Yes get some SAS shoes you won't regret it. Lots of stretching in the mornings too.

I have it at the insertion point in the heel.

8-9 months of dealing with it.

Insoles, stretching and a frozen water bottle or round glass cup to massage are your best treatments

I did the frozen water bottle massage, got socks with arch support, plus additional arch support insoles. That helped over time but believe it or not, once I started doing calf stretches, I was walking pain free in a few days. But I still had to continue the rest of the treatments.

I've had it several times. Ice it, like twice a day for 15 minutes. Stretch it. There are stretching exercises on line. Take ibuprofen. Buy the expensive Dr. Scholl's inserts and wear them in all your shoes. I'm talking about the ones that you have to get sized for by the machine in stores. Wal-Mart has them. I would avoid getting a cortisone shot if possible. Foot doctors like giving them and it really only masks the pain. The shot hurts like hell too. They stick it in the bottom of your foot. Rest, stay off your foot as much as possible too. Can't stress that enough. Tennis shoes should be worn, no sandles. Do all that and if you're lucky it may be gone in two weeks.

And the night brace mentioned earlier helps as well. CVS has them.

the only thing that got it to go away for me was stretching my foot before getting out of bed (or if sitting for a while) and taking advil several times a day. the stretching alone didnt do it for me. i had it for months with just stretching and resting it. the anti inflammatory made a huge difference.

Only correct answer is to go see a podiatrist and get real orthotic insoles made. Also buy quality tennis shoes, like from New Balance store, not the cheap New Balance from Academy.
