Plane crashes near BTR

Odd, that is literally 1/4 mile from the runway as I recall

Nah, not a turboprop. Piston twin, gotta believe cause to more than likely be fuel related...

My company had a plane go mechanical in Port au Prince, couldn't get the part there until the next day.
The crew slept on the aircraft so no one would steal anything from it.

Had just finished repairs on engine, and was taking it up for a test. Well.. Landed with gear up at the Maryland Tank farm, by the track, yards from an apartment complex full of kids and two busy highways. Sounds like the pilot did a helluva job.

No doubt. Not a lot of green space out there and he did a good job putting it down where people ain't.
