Oh! Oh! Just had an image of a skinny witchy looking ole lady, puffing on a joint, coming out of her back door cursing and threatening your pilot with a broom.

That story deserves more of a legendary status in Baton Rouge lore than it currently has.

Happened 3 years after that 210 crashed taking off on Plank in Baker I believe

Does anyone have the video of that 210 crash in 2005 after trying to take off from Plank Road?

I heard just over 1500 hours. Seeing that he was a 15 year commercial ME pilot I would absolutely say flying wasn’t his primary gig. That is unless GDS was paying him very well to fly 100 hours a year.

It looks like he didn’t get his commercial license till he was about 35. Seems like he may have been just a regular employee that also flew the plane. That isn’t meant to suggest he was incompetent by any stretch of the imagination.

Damn it dude, a family lost someone, and you are trying to figure out if this was his fault based on lack of experience?
Frick off with this crap.

I’d imagine it wouldn’t have been a stretch for them to pay him $100k or so a year for that kind of flight scheduling.

I happen to be friends with a family member of this guy that is taking this pretty hard. I can only imagine how he and the rest of his family would feel if they read this nonsense.

No one is disparaging this guy.

He’s flown for them and that plane in particular for over a decade.
I have a family member who worked for GDS. Ian flew him around in the same aircraft back in 2010

What? Let me get this straight? You're telling me the pilot (Ian) flew another Piper Cheyenne that crashed in 2010?
Would you care to clarify that please? Surely I'm missing something here.
