I've never seen someone pay as much attention to what other men are doing as you do. This is a weird obsession to have. For some reason I find myself looking at women pretty much all the time in those settings.

I don’t really encounter too many try hards at the airport, but I also exclusively book early flights which probably factors into that. My routine is to have everything packed the night before. I usually wake up, take a shite, and throw on a nondescript hoodie and ball cap and make the 30 minute drive to the airport. By the time I get to the gate, it’s usually late lunch time so I grab a quick bite to eat before boarding. It seems like there are lots of families for these early flights, but not many of the earpiece-wearing, self important types described in OP.

Feel airports should top this list. Just getting through security has 4 different priority options. (TSA precheck here)
Then there are the airline clubs (United member here)
Then boarding priorities have gotten way out of control. (Boarding group 1 here, but there’s at least 3 priorities in front of that now.
Forget all that tho. Airports have to be the #1 place for the blue jean, sport coat wearing asshat on his earpiece walking around talking like he’s the Wolf of f’ing Wallstreet. I swear that guy wants to make damn sure everyone knows he’s in the midst of saving the world.
Anyone got somewhere that tops the airport as the top place people try and flex their status?.
Agreed.
Can't stand these posers with me up here in A1-A15.

Wait you're bragging that you have a shitty job that requires you to travel constantly?
Congrats on spending weeks away from your family and hours sitting in glorified bus stations with crappy $17 sandwiches and standing in boarding lines.
I bet you're one of those who stand up the second the plane lands with your neck in an awkward position waiting for people to move.
Winning!

Exactly.
Winning is sending someone else to do that crap.
