I think I remember a place that sold Cajun hamburgers, might have been on Government St, maybe even a local chain?

my first job while i was a senior at Woodlawn. Burger Tyme on Coursey and Sherwood. They had several locations tho. Originated out of Lafayette as a small chain.

Cajun Blaze
Bon Temps Poulet
Big Tyme

Then TJ Cinnamons teamed up with them and started selling their goods out of their stores.

You could literally gain 5 lbs. in one sitting.

I remember the intersection of Airline and Florida Blvd being a traffic circle. We all piled into the car to drive around it when it first opened in the 50's.

how about this one?

early 80's there used to be a spa/sauna-type place where you could rent a private room with a jacuzzi in it...and they didn't check ID's

it wasnt an oriental massage typ place, more like a health club

anyone remember that?
