:sigh:

I doubt she does as well

my goddamn point is that she should get charges though, and I don't understand why more people are not advocating for the owner to get charges in these cases since it is always "NOT THE DOG IT'S THE OWNER!"

Do you recall seeing many (if any) classy folks that own pits?

yes. lots. people who aren't concerned about their image and take in these dogs who've been abused and abandoned. i think that's very classy.

Have you ever watched the TV show Pit Bulls and Parolees? If not, you should because you obviously don't know about the people who take pride in owning a pit.

I don't know that I'd take the kids before giving the parents the option of giving up the dog. Bottom line, pits should never be around small children. Period.

I guess you didn't read the rest of the thread where I admitted that statement was trolling. Idiot.

Amen man.

These pit bulls are like wild wolves. They are not cute and friendly like people seem to think they are as puppies. Kill them all

Finally we come to an agreement

She won't, but in some's eyes she does. I mean come on now, why on earth would you have a pit inside with your dog? Yeah you can blame the dog, but also the owner for having the dog and a kid in the same room.

I'm not a fan of saying anyone with a pit should not have kids around, because there are some responsible owners in this world. Just depends on the dog's background and how he was raised.

To say it's not the dog but the owner, can only be used in some cases. This being one of them in a way, but at the same time it's really time if you know what I mean.

Did you see the post earlier in this thread where someone said they saw this mom had posted a picture just a week or so ago on FB of her child playing with the very dog that later killed her child?

It's a little bit of both though. People that forget dogs are animals are idiotic, and any good pet owner should remember that. I've had the nicest golden retrievers in the world, but you're out of your mind if you think I'd let any small child that was not familiar with the animal play with it with zero supervision.

My pit bull is a great dog, and smart and polite as all hell, but he's afraid of children. Any dog of any breed can become afraid of children because they're so unpredictable. If you have a pet of any species that can harm a human, then you have greater responsibility than that of a rat owner, I mean chihuahua owner. Some people can't handle that responsibility and should have to own up to it.

99% of pit bulls are not mean dogs. There are just too many people not fond of extra responsibility.
