They always do. It's amazing how it's always the "most well-behaved" dogs, too.

But no leash to be seen. No fence.

Well, there's the problem.

Another great one: “He just got out.”

Like dogs are Houdini.

my dog is 80% basset, but has like 5% Pitt in her - sweetest tempered dog I have ever had. she tried to assert dominance with our cats, and they backer her into the corner. now she gives them a wide berth.

I always have that fear that that small percentage could rear its ugly head, but she is always supervised and on a leash, and only i walk her - because I can control her 50 pound frame on the leach, and she is never outside unattended.

sorry about your kids OP - I truly hope they are ok.

One yellow pound dog (the pics show that’s obviously not a golden retriever) attack to the millions of pit bull attacks? Gtfo. Pit bulls are made to kill and maim and they do.

We’ve got a Cavalier which is basically the anti-pitbull tiny and as sweet as can be.

We have some pitts in some of the areas we take her on her walk and I’ve made my piece with myself that I’d do whatever it takes to protect her as she could never protect herself. She’s just not got any defensive instincts in her or ability to really do much other than bark at the occasional squirrel.
