Henry Clifford with his fiance Margaret Mitchell in Atlanta. He was killed in France a few weeks before the end of WWI. She later wrote Gone With the Wind, modeling the character Ashley Wilkes after Clifford.

In the '90s I saw a 1963 Sears motorcycle at a Sears store. I guess Monty Ward was just keeping up with the competition.

A "Then and Now" comparison.
The top image is an engraving that was produced in the spring of 1775 by Amos Doolittle of British regulars marching through Concord, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775. Doolittle was a veteran of the battle and authored this image just weeks after it had transpired. The bottom is a photograph taken from that same location in 2023.

Gone With the Wind was published in 1936, and the movie was released in 1940. WWII ended in 1945.
