I copied the caption on the photo. The photo date is 39. These guys aren't all from the same class. For example, Cobb was 36 and Sisler was 39. The photo caption was incorrect. The should say early baseball hall of fame legends gather for a photograph, 1939.

The year was 1961 when he died.
You can see Krauss Department store in the background and that pic was taken with the Saenger Theater on N. Rampart St. behind the car as it headed toward Claiborne Ave.
