I listened to AM radio every night as a kid. KMOX and WLS were pivotal. Baseball and Blues hockey were really enjoyable.
Hell I even learned about sex from WLS after midnight. Lol good times.

Yeah, I used to flip the dial as a kid (in the 90's), and remember getting St. Louis Cardinals talk.
I can still get WLS clear at night every now and then on the truck radio.

Listened to DJ Larry Lujack on WLS AM and FM when I was a kid. Had a routine about Animal Stories.

My time was mid to late 70’s.
I remember Lujack as well as John “Records” Landecker with the boogie check. First time I heard a lot of bands. Foreigner was one. It truly was the first time lol.
Huntsville had nothing FM wise except for classical and parlor music.
After midnight WLS had sex talk. I was a freshman and listened intently.

If that's real, Elvis had one helluva week. Not that he would remember any of it.

The Alger Hiss case that Chambers testified in is the reason the Left (and their water carriers in the media) hated Nixon.

I have some pictures of my father guarding Japanese POWs at Peleliu but have no idea how to post. Everything I try, fails. Any help for an old worn out computer illiterate guy?

If it is posted on-line, on Windows you just have to mouse right click on the image and a menu pops up. One of the options is "copy image address." Then just hit the "img" here and paste the copied address in there.

Very easy.
