In 1943, this kid (who lived in the Bahamas) won a Marx train set as a prize in a contest. "Made in the USA" train sets were rare in 1943. The first photo shows the Duchess of Windsor handing him the set. I now own the set, which also came with correspondence from the Duchess of Windsor and other provenance.
