Went to Vegas in 98 to a convention. Got to meet General Tibbets, the man who flew the plane, Colonel Ferebee, the man that dropped the Bomb and Major Van Kirk, the navigator. Got to talk to the three men for about 20 minutes. Was one of the highlights of my life. All three answered they never regretted dropping the bomb, said it saved more lives for both sides than it cost.
