Never knew there was an "Alien" board-game. I do recall "Alien" gum cards being sold. It always struck me as odd that a pretty grisly R-rated 'adult' sci-fi film managed to have so much commercial product directed towards kids. Especially as this was back in 1979. It struck me as a bit unseemly.

Those troops are from the 2nd Cavalry Division. This pic is almost certainly stateside as the division was never sent into combat. It was deactivated before the end of the war and most of its personnel assigned to service units.
