Wasn’t there rumors of Shirley Jones banging one of the boys on the show? Or was that the mom from the Brady Bunch?

Robert Reed, the actor who played Mike Brady on The Brady Bunch, died on May 12, 1992, from complications of colon cancer, with his HIV-positive status listed as a significant contributing factor on his death certificate.

It’s kinda complicated according to his Wiki page.
quote:
In November 1991, Reed was diagnosed with colon lymphoma, a rare form of colorectal cancer.[41][42][43] When he became ill, he only allowed his daughter Karen and actress Anne Haney, a close friend, to visit him.[36][41] Haney later said of Reed, "He came from the old school, where people had a sense of decorum. He went the way he wanted to, without publicity."[36] Weeks before his death, Reed called Henderson and asked her to inform the rest of The Brady Bunch cast that he was terminally ill.[23] He died on May 12, 1992, at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California, at age 59.[7]
Initially, Reed's death was solely attributed to cancer, but details that were written on his death certificate were later made public, revealing that Reed was also HIV-positive.[44] The actor had been diagnosed with HIV in the spring of 1991.[42] It remains unknown when Reed contracted HIV, because he kept his medical condition and private life a secret from the public until his death, telling only a few close friends.[45] While Reed did not have AIDS at the time of his death,[9][38][46] his doctor listed his HIV-positive status as one of the "significant conditions that contributed to death" on the death certificate.[44][47][48] He is buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, Illinois.[49]

Fun little fact that Shirley Jones family owned (and as of 2017 now owns again) a Brewery in Smithton, Pennsylvania. Her Grandfather William "Stoney" Jones started Jones Brewing in 1907. Stoney's beer is their most notable beer.
If you're ever in Western Pennsylvania, be sure to grab one, it's actually pretty good beer.

I'm really surprised Skip Bertman didn't put those in the Tiger Stadium bathrooms.
