Ford Super Duty gets 925 lb-ft of torque, massive towing capacity...

Hopefully more reliable than the 6.0L and 6.4L Powerstrokes. Those things absolutely sucked.

You should. It's a Ford F250.

hat would depend on the torque curve for the motor.

I get better mileage at 50 than I do at 70. But I also get better mileage at 80 than I do at 70. The rpms are about 300 higher.

Do aerodynamics have no effect on F250s? Every vehicle I've ever owned does worse at higher speeds. I'd need to personally see it to believe it, because it doesn't defies logic.

When your aerodynamic are bad enough, funny things happen. Also, lifted vehicles are odd.

The manufacturer is doing everything to eek out mileage at 70mph. Making sure that the engine is running at peak efficiency at that point with perfect gearing.

And then the owner lifts it and ruins everything

My CEOD is so bad on my xterra that my mileage doesn't change even when I tow an extra 2k lbs. Doesn't change when the rooftop tent is installed either. When the winch bumper was installed, the peak settled in around 16 mpg. With the way I drive, that's usually 14ish.
