I know. That's just what she claimed on her LinkedIn page. Obviously, she lied.

She's getting her dirty laundry aired.
In 2005, she was arrested in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, on a charge of issuing a worthless check. That case was dismissed, the Clerk of Court’s Office said.
In 2010, she was charged with failure to return leased movables, related to leased property. Downey was put on probation, which the office noted as terminated for unsatisfactory reasons.
More:
Eight-year-old Mason Wilson went to the school for two years. Despite getting report cards showing A’s and B’s, Mason tested well below average for his grade level.
The parents said they met Downey through church, where they say she convinced them to enroll based on one key point. Attending the school would help their kids with college. Downey also promised accreditation, especially appealing to parents with children attending non-accredited schools.

Apparently. It all blew up this year because one of their graduates tried to go to college. There were questions about the school, and the diploma was presented to the college as proof of graduating high school.
The diploma was signed by the public school superintendent, but the signature was forged. In lieu of suing her arse off, the school district made her write a letter to all graduates saying that she forged the superintendent's signature. Then parents went to the media and now she's facing criminal charges.

UNO does not even offer a PhD in clinical psychology. They offer PhD's in two other areas of psychology. Applied biopsychology and developmental psychology

The ones that are too lazy to home school but have been convinced by their facebook feeds that public schools are one step above maximum security prisons.

How many people deep dive on every ones resume ... I mean, you would think a Christian school would be more honest. I'm hoping that this was some sort of clerical error, if not , wow , frick those guys

I'd be curious to know if any of the students took the ACT or SAT and see what their scores were.
Is it possible that an unaccredited school can provide a decent education?

Why was the public school super signing diplomas? I just checked my diploma from the catholic high school I attended...the orleans parish school board super did not sign it.
who attends these schools? people trying to avoid going to school with blacks, and people who think the only accreidation that matters is the one from the Lord.

He wasn't. For some reason, this chick thought it legitimized the diploma and forged his name. A public school superintendent would not be signing these diplomas.
You nailed it on who attends these schools. This chick is a Pentecostal preacher's wife. Pentecostal churches prey on the weak minded and poor. So a pastor telling a parent that they need to have their kid in a "Christian school" is all it takes in most cases.
To be fair, there are legitimate Christian schools with SACS and SAIS accreditation. While you may have some families that feel the same as the aforementioned, these schools are typically okay as they have had their curriculum and their teachers vetted.
