Sarcasm. It's a tough one for some people.

Starting a response with the phrase, “I mean...”

I’m pretty sure we’re going to know what you mean based on what follows that phrase. If you use that phrase, you’re just wasting time with dumbassery.

Speaking of, Duke is and has been dead on with the weather.

You should feel badly about the mean things you've said.

“Literally”

Notice how many times you see/hear it used by EVERYONE daily. It’s mind numbing how society is such a herd of sheep.

It's less the word that annoys me and more that people don't know how to use it. Why insert 'literally' into an otherwise correct statement and suddenly make it bullshite.

"It literally scared me to death". No. frick you. You're still alive. You're not a body.

FWIW, this is not a new phrase. King Edward III used the phrase “it is as it is”, which is the same thing, in the 1300s.

I don’t know why, but when media types say an album will “drop” annoys me. Today Show does this constantly. “Beyoncé’s new album drops Monday.”

Also, Today Show always runs a headline that the interviewee is speaking out. “Tom Cruise speaks out!” Yuck.

“You have to watch [insert movie or TV show]l”
“Did you assume my gender”
“I prefer “them” pronouns”
“Bernie would have won”
“No justice, no peace”

The word Ya'll in a business setting. I immediately assume I'm dealing with an idiot.
