At least the slides are plastic now. When I was a toddler we had metal slides that ensured in summer you suffered 2nd degree burns

The old merry go rounds were fun. Have 4 people spin it really fast and you just try to hold on as gravity took hold and slung you off dizzy as hell

This same thing happened to a friend of mine and her son. I never knew this was a common thing.

People get hurt on things, that shouldn't be a shocker. This one is worse because of the injury, that is all.

Classic New York liberal attitude. Some random bad incident happens and they become advocates for implementing some overkill widespread government law for an event with a tiny probability of occurrence.

Exactly. Shite happens, no matter how many warnings are out there.

I don't think anyone really wants to see the "moment" a child's leg breaks.

But yet here we are clicking on a thread titled "Photo captures moment toddler's leg broke".

If it was just the kid, the momentum wouldn't be enough to snap their ankle. It was mom's weight behind the impact that caused the break. The kid should sue.

Even though I didn't break my foot, leg, back, neck on the slide, I want to hire a lawyer because they didn't post a be careful sign. I feel ripped off......

It’s really not that big of a deal. Kids’ bones break easy, but they heal easy, too. It’s okay to get hurt every now and then.
