Idk. The effect worked on me.

I got a fuzzy feeling of collective-patriotism(at home and on the fronts) from those pictures. Everyone was 'doing work' per se.

One of my favorite images in the collection. Yes, some of these were probably staged for Life Magazine and propo posters but I am convinced the women in the galleries were true life "Rosies"
