Once Lee Zurik starts digging into how much money the City actually spent and how many resources and man hours were used to remove these monuments as well as gets to the bottom who and who doesn't own them, Mitch will eventually go to jail. He should already be held in contempt by the 5th Circuit by not honoring the ruling that no City resources and only qualified workers would be used to remove the monuments.
Meanwhile, crime is still rising, streets are still fricked up, my taxes and insurance are at an all time high, and The Bitch is more worried about monuments than anything else.

Just got kicked out the park playing soccer in front of the museum. There have to be at least 100 cop cars here. Cops outnumber the protestors, who are 100% peaceful and not blocking any trafffic, at least 4 to 1. So much wasted man power so Mitch can have his "legacy." frick you Mitch. frick you.

Not gonna lie, the guys I play with are mostly foreign and left leaning. Most of them think this is a waste of time and money and making things more divided. I really don't know who Mitch thinks this is helping.
As more people become vocal about it, I'm beginning to think a public vote would have resulted in Mitch being told to frick off. I've got black guys at work that can't stand Trump that think this is a dumb thing to do.

Not much to see. They have the road blocked that runs from the museum out to Esplanade. Probably had about 75 or so cops between the museum and Esolanade. Then a whole bunch parked on Wisner/Carrollton, and the Shell station on Esplanade had the parking lot full of cop cars. Just absolutely ridiculous show of force given the lack of violence at these protests. But that's just Mitch being there dumbass he is. I really hope this lands him in jail.
And the barricades go 2/3 of the way to the museum from the monument, it's all just so silly. I'm kind of shocked this is real life.

There must be over 150 police officers surrounding the monument and are sweeping the area to keep people away from it. They have kicked out all the supporters of the monuments by the NOPD and they are telling everyone they have to watch the monument be destroyed from across the Bayou St. John.
