Whoa. I had no clue about his dad. Of course, I never really paid much attention to him to begin with, but that would definitely explain his mental health challenges.

i've seen the plaque on randalls island with his dad's name on it. thought i had a pic but i guess not. pete's semi autobiographical movie "king of staten island" is pretty good. drags a little in parts but great cast - him, bill burr, steve buscemi (also a fdny fire fighter). judd apatow flick
