As a heterosexual male with a genetic makeup that requires me to satisfy my carnal need to mate, I demand once a day sex sessions at work.

That's sexual harassment. I'm going to need some stress leave.

Also...how would something like that work for workplaces that employ mostly women?

When a bunch of women work together...their periods tend to all sync up. So you gonna just not have most of your workforce then?

Will women over 40 have to have a doctors note confirming they are still having periods?

Yep. My personal stance is.. the people who give a shite about their work would never take advantage of this. I know I wouldn't. The more I do my job, the more money we make as a company.. which means the more money I stand to make as an employee. And while we all love vacations and I take the odd day to work from home sometimes, that is totally different than several days every month to sit home and tend to your period.

Some companies have this policy in place.

I have no sympathy. Majority of women I work with never complain about it. The ones that do should be more prepared. If you know you get cramps, don't wait till the middle of the shift to take care of it.

This. Motrin is awesome for cramps...if you actually take it.

Back when I was on the pill (which makes your periods appear like clockwork)...I could schedule around it. Knowing that the first day I'm usually very moody and just really irritable towards others...I could keep that in mind when making my work schedule for that month. I usually didn't schedule myself for a shift that night.

Honestly -- the 40 hour work week is outdated. Most salaried people actually only do work for 3-4 hours a day.

I'd be all for a 4 day work week. 36 hours. Sounds prefect.

Just think what we'd be capable of if people actually worked...

I have a 3 day work week. 36 hours. 4 days off each week is a beautiful thing.

Geez, what's next? Can I get a dedicated "safe space" at work while we're at it?
