Meh, they can have the west coast.
Um, that's the most important coastline we have in any logical invasion scenario.

“Invasion” by Eric L. Harry
Also wrote “Arc Light” “ Protect and Defend” and “Society of the Mind” and all are available on Amazon.
A southern Mississippi attorney and author of several interesting novels, he posed this invasion theory in his 2000 novel. Mirrors many of the thoughts here.
China grows into a superpower and embarks on world domination by invading Vietnam and India and then other Pacific regions. Also take over South Korea and its enormous ship building industry. Over a decade they get a foothold in South America, etc.
Gradually, with enormous material and stolen technology, they destroy US air and naval forces in the Battle of the Havana Straits. Then they proceed to invade the US via Mobile Bay where they bog down in guerrilla warfare ... and that’s just the start of the novel and gets interesting.
A good read but you first have to swallow the preposterous early premise that the world has entered into a global anti-surveillance satellite treaty that renders beyond-the-horizon warfare obsolete — virtually reducing warfare to WWII levels. If you can get past this premise then the book is a very good read.
The Battle of Atlanta is intense as is the siege of D.c., etc. but the guerrilla warfare is the best part. The Chinese hadn’t figured on the constant harassment and tenacity of the Southern Resistance.
I’ll stop here in case y’all want to read “Invasion” by Harry. Spolier: The US wins (duh).

"Never interrupt your enemy while he's making a mistake"
Why would China or Russia want to invade us while they can sit back and watch US citizens riot, burn and loot their own cities? Especially when there's bound to be a lot more of it after the election. An unprovoked military attack by a foreign country would probably be the only thing that unites the US population. Unprovoked surprise attack against the US didn't work out very well when Japan tried it

If China and India got into a major war, I feel like NATO/US would be quick to defend India. India has a very very large army, they wouldn’t want India to fall with all that manpower.

Could be some incidents that scare people.
That is about it.

Zero. Our enemies would unite us all if they invaded, and of course, their home countries would be vaporized.
No, we'll continue to be invaded the soft way, with immigration, until our enemies have enough domestic support to either vote themselves into power or start a civil war.
