Not on this website.

Wait....you think this site doesn't have large numbers of people from pretty much everywhere?

Whatever you say there, cap.

You dumb frick, even I acknowledge the historic heatwave (where it is actually historic). It isn't my problem that you can't comprehend what I have an actual issue with.

Don't fall into the trap that Truzz did or I will have to ask you to show me where I have said such.

Statistically I would assume the majority of the posters on here reside in Louisiana or Texas.

You'd probably be right. That doesn't mean we don't have a whole hell of a lot of posters elsewhere. Any weather thread for pretty much anywhere in the country proves that.

You dumb frick

You’re angry over the media’s dramatization over the weather and people believing it.

Meanwhile for most of Louisiana and Texas(where most of the posters live) it’s been triple digits for 16 of the past 20 days, with essentially zero rain. No need to convince the people here. We are living it.

I am going to have to ask you to pay attention to who I talk to and who I reference. I don't make blanket statements. Never have and never will.

That may just be too much to ask of you, though.

I read through your post on here. They are the same as in the other weather threads.

You are pressed about people claiming weather events are related to the heat when they actually weren’t, or people claiming they are tired of this heat wave when they actually aren’t. It gets you so rattled up that you curse at posters and respond in pretty much weather related thread, sticking to you point in a rather impressive manner for unknown reasons.

Going forward, you would like posters to be very specific because any type of generalization will be met by you with specific facts showing them how they are wrong.

Because people exaggerating the weather clearly triggers you.

That about sums you up on this topic. Now downvote away

You figured one thing out. It irritates me even more when those same people refuse to admit when they were exaggerating and/or outright wrong.

-Augusta has still had a below Normal Summer.
-Many people who believe they are in a terrible drought still aren't.
-And the large majority of "cities across the South" still haven't broken "all time" high temp records.
-It is still a historic heatwave in some parts of the country.
-It still isn't in others.

It's just an unusual pattern it isn't everywhere. If this were winter we'd likely be frozen solid with a big strong high over the top of us and locked in it would probably have an arctic origin.

Red flag fire weather warning for the I-20 corridor and south tomorrow. I believe that's a first.

I only moved back to La last year but I don’t remember anything like this when I grew up here . And it doesn’t shock me. An ember from a nearby fire or a spark from a tractor could easily light this whole place up. If it were windy some of these brush fires would spread dangerously fast.

I know it is hot, but I also know weather service mess with the numbers to do two things, get clicks and push climate change.

I know the temperature where I live was 98 yesterday. Checked three different thermometers through out the day (Digital and old timey). Weather station said we hit 102.

The station is 4 miles from my house and temps can be different, but they also like to hype and fear monger too.

This has happened multiple times before. Call it a little thing, but the difference between good advertising money and great could be a few degrees.
