As much as I hate what it's become BR is my city. I have family here.
If this carpetbagging motherfricker wants it to burn, after all the hardship we went through last year with the flood and the shootIngs by an outsider, I'd gleefully roast marshmallows over his flaming corpse.
Put it this way. If he was on fire, and I had a 5 gallon bucket of water, I'd drink it.

I'm nervous about this and what the fallout will be. My mom lives in close to the BRPD HQ on Airline/Goodwood and I plan on staying there a couple of days if/when shite hits the fan.

He had a gun on him and it could be easily argued that he was reaching for it even if he was not.
I saw the grainy video. He was resisting and reaching for something. I did not know he had a gun. If that's true, it would be hard to justify charges for the cops.

Baton Rouge is about to be an inferno.

Has anyone notified the BLM group and The Nation of Islam that they can probably find better rates a short distance away out of town in Denham Springs. I'm sure there are several places that would love to put them up for the night.

Sit outside the front porch cleaning an AR. I think you and your mother will be fine

So, I guess we're tied up 1-1 in this week's race war.

I work in NBR off plank and will be bringing my AR along with my normal Glock 9mm to work for the unforeseeable future. My coworkers actually asked me to bring it up here a little while ago.

I agree.
Praying for Baton Rouge - particular the parish's law enforcement since they were the target of last year's Black Lives Matter shootings.

If this is true, I will be praying for my uncle (state trooper) and two cousins (LP sheriff deputies) because I know they will be called out in this mess.

BRPD, Louisiana State Police, and host of others last summer came in and kicked arse and would not let protesters take over the streets. With new Mayor, do you think she will allow the same approach, does she even have a say?
Serious question. I'm just wondering if SWB will have any say how it's handled this time around
We know a lot of those tickets for arrest got thrown out, but who cares, it worked to keep all hell from breaking loose.
