I used to purposely zigzag between parking rows on my way back to my truck if I felt someone was stalking me for a space. Then I'd just camp out in it for a while if someone pulled up behind me to wait for my spot, because I knew damn well that there were available spots further away. I like to think a few lessons were learned.

It only takes about 3 seconds longer to back in, due to having to pull past the spot and then come back. Upon leaving it takes you probably 30 seconds longer to back out because you can't see.
People that don't think backing in is better, most of the time, are idiots.

I always park as far away as I can or next to curbs to avoid assholes dinging my cars! The thing is, most of the people who park close can really use the extra exercise!!

only slightly less annoying than people that leave their shopping cart wherever it happens to be when

More and more, I'm also seeing where people leave trash in their carts - bags, packaging, receipts. Trashy, literally and figuratively.

I also agree with the waiting for a spot to open thing. A little walking would benefit most of these people.

I always walk down the lane next to where my car is parked and then I cut through.

It is ironic that folks who will wait behind someone getting into a car long enough where a line of cars builds up so they can save 50 feet of walking are same #quesonation folks who could use an extra 50 feet of walking.

Especially at the gym...dear facebook.

I will hold up an entire parking lot for 2 adjacent spots, then park on the line between them in my 12 year old truck.
