I used to always jokingly call my ex wife "the boss" and CC her on all my personal emails so she'd know I wasn't messing around on her.

Had a kid that was the sole person on a night shift. He would call me every Friday night with a stupid question (Is it okay if I park my car in Joe's spot? Can I listen to your radio?) so that I would know that he had shown up for work. In reality, he'd immediately leave after the phone call and then come in over the weekend to hurry and complete the work he didn't do Friday night.

My boss’s boss set an outlook rule so anything he is cc’d on goes straight to archive, he never even gets it in his inbox.
Which is cool, because he is such high level, I can fire off something nasty and cc him and the person on the other end snaps to attention and does what I ask. Big Boss will never see the email.
