Anytime I smell pancakes I'm mad I dont have any. This would be a problem.

This. Food is maybe the last thing I would complain about on an airplane.
I don't know. I've sat next to a Japanese man on a flight who brought on hard boiled eggs and started pealing them back and eating them. That would be one of my more miserable travel experiences.

I had a guy sit next to me and crack open a salmon dinner and proceed to chow down using chopsticks. I wanted to punch him in the face for stinking up the joint and also using chopsticks like an uppity doucher

Think the TSA would allow cracklins and boudin balls through security?
I think the passengers aboard my LAX to SYD flight would love to be able to smell that south Louisiana goodness.

I prefer to eat somewhere in the airport instead of my cramped seat right next to people I don't know. But as others have said, sometimes you have little choice.

If he's Asian, its pretty preferable. I honestly like eating easily breakable things with chopsticks.
That said, its douchey as frick to bring onto a plane a salmon dinner, or really seafood of any kind.

No, he was a whitebread business guy. He looked like an arrogant son of a bitch too which was probably another reason why I wanted to sock him one.

I rather not eat at the airport ever. But I was waiting on my flight and then it got delayed. They put me on another an I knew it was my only choisce

Agreed. I appreciate the individuals right to eat, but please be considerate of others especially in the cramped confines of an airplane

Huh? I'm fairly sure that Delta still serves peanuts or pretzels. Unless that's changed in the last 6 months.

Trail mix, chips, or a snack is fine. I sat next to a passenger that had some disgusting subway or blimpie sand which one day. All the oil and shite was rather gross. I don't see why it's necessary to bring it on the plane.

People on here are defending the person who brought the chicken on the plane, but we all know its really impolite. If you're pressed for time, do you go get a sandwich, hamburger, or fried chicken? frick no. You get some potato chips or beef jerky. It typically takes at least 8 minutes to prepare that stuff, and there is no way if you're late for a flight that you're going to stop, wait in a line, and wait for someone make you a sandwich.
It's a real sign of disrespect to your neighbors, especially when you could 99% of the time eat and finish it out by the gate. frick that noise, and either eat before you get on the plane, or go by Hudson News and get a quick snack that doesn't smell.

Commercial flying is nothing but a Greyhound bus in the sky, if you are on the OT board you should at least have fractional ownership in a G3 or G550.

Way to be an a-hole.

When it happens to me, I remove my shoes and socks and begin clipping my toe nails while they are eating on the side of me...laughing
I am just kidding of course

Peanut allergies occur with just being near peanuts? How do these folks grocery shop?
Posted on 1/19/14 at 9:00 pm to lsunurse
How does that make him an a-hole?

Intentionally bringing peanuts onto the plane when it's been announced that someone has a peanut allergy? That's an a-hole move. Find something else to eat.

This makes me want Popeyes.
