Did it all on my own. No help from family or friends.

I don't feel like I work a day in my life.

A guy I went to daycare with called me up and asked if I wanted a position in his startup. I was a good fit because the two income household I grew up in allowed me to attend great schools. We are now partners and filthy rich.

My life would have been so much worse if I hadn't met him at daycare way back in the day and gotten to attend great schools.

I took a career in luxury car sales to get the selling skills to sell my self to the company in my hometown I have wanted to work for most of my adult life. I worm in the duck hunting/ outdoor product making/ land selling business

Lots of determination. Setting short term goals to achieve long term life goals

I knew no one, put in an app at a recruiting company online. I'm very happy with where I work and it would take a lot for me to leave.

Waited several years for someone to retire and had 2 buddies go to bat for me when the time came. Still had to pass a test and impress them on the interview though. Awesome company and a job I'd never leave.
