Describe your experience please. Did you throw up?
I ate 5 pieces of sushi once with ghost pepper extract on them.
Thank god I threw that stuff up. My a-hole would have been permanently ruined.

but I do finely dice them and put them in a lot of dishes.
Friday, when I went home, I really wanted an egg salad sandwhich. And i was just obsessing about it. And i was like ‘man I’m gonna make one of those.’ So Saturday I went out and I got like a dozen eggs and I boiled them all. And i spent probably three hours…like three and half hours, makin’ you know, the mayonaise and the onions and paprika and, you know, all the accoutrement. And then, by the time I was done I just really didn’t feel like eating it….And I didnt have any bread.

That chick in the backwards hat would get it.

what happened to the ghost pepper?
These aren't naturally occuring. They're cultivated and selectively bred. Ghost chilis are far surpassed by some of these designer peppers. I just wonder what the commercial value is. It seems to me that they're so hot that they're practically toxic and unusable for food.

I ate a whole Ghost Pepper once, which looks to be about half as hot as this one. It started out slow to give me a false sense of confidence, but it just kept getting hotter and hotter. I think I ate about 14 freezie pops before it started to cool down. It was a rough half hour.
The worst part, though, was a couple hours later when your stomach acid starts dissolving the seeds (I think). It feels like you are being repeatedly stabbed in the stomach and there is nothing you can really do to stop it. I was laying on the couch in a random contorted position just whimpering until my wife brought me a bottle of Pepto that ended up making life slightly bearable again.

As with anything some are bound to be hotter or less hot than others. I've never eaten anything hotter than a habanero but sometimes I get a batch of those that aren't very hot at all. Sometimes they're ridiculously hot.

People grow new strains of peppers every year. That's why it's always changing. I have eaten a ghost pepper, and it was pretty hot. Not excruciating, but it got aggravating because it lasted so long. Ice cream worked better than anything else.
I recently got some pepper spray for my little sister, and supposedly it doesn't affect 20% of people. I'd bet that guy is one of them. After a test spray and a gust of wind, I know that it works on me
Eta: Brought home some wings that were left over from a guy doing the challenge at Bayou Hot Wings. It wasn't bad eating them, but it definitely hurt the next morning

I don't know where BuzzFeed finds the people they do for these videos, but I hate them all.
I get the vibe that the conned a bunch of wanna be comedians to come over after their improv class.

Fresh peppers aren't as bad as the dry ones...also during wetter growing seasons.
