Leaving work, driving up Louisiana Ave uptown, I see a car ahead of me open the passenger side and dump 2 styrofoam food containers of food in the street. Catch up to them and it's 2 older black women who looked like they just got out of church... 
I guess it's part of their cultcha...

Have never understood why people can't just throw their trash in a proper receptacle. I hate seeing people throwing trash and dumping their cigarette butts on the ground.

Why would anyone downvote the original post? Louisiana is a beautiful state with lots of water. Litter is just nasty and nasty people litter.
Litter is everywhere though. The FM road to my farm isn't that busy but there is a lot of litter along the road.

I've had people throw trash in my truck bed at sporting events, at parties (drink cups), and while parked near trendy restuarant and bar areas such as the Perkins road overpass. Doesn't happen all the time, but it happens.
