I guess I give people the benefit of the doubt of not having time, being out of town, other excuses as to why they haven’t taken their lights down.

However, why are there people that still are turning their lights on?????? Two houses on my street are doing this. This is a whole different level of trash.

It’s 2020. Nobody “turns them on” anymore. They make little robots that you plug in and they turn them on when the sun goes down.

Melting over Christmas lights. Just how good do we have it as Americans?

If you don't like it, take it up with my HOA.

Maybe they had their lights on a timer and have fallen down getting out of the tub, broken a hip, and died helpless on the bathroom floor and unable to call for help while jackasses like you sat there and judged them for their lights, but never once checked on their wellness.

Did you ever think of that? No. No, you didn't.

Damn, seems like every week you start at least two threads bitching about something. You sound like a miserable frick. Relax and enjoy life a little.

When I lived in Mobile shite fricking hole Alabama, everybody in my nice neighborhood where I lived kept them up until the end of Mardi Gras. I hate Mardi Gras and think it is the stupidest ducking shite ever but that’s what they liked so it never really bothered me

My tree is down, but I'm not going to lie, I hate doing it. I love that pine smell, the soft glow of the lights, and the memories made around it that year. I'm not on anyone else's schedule, just take it down when it becomes brittle.

Why not after Xmas? We all turn them on weeks before Xmas.
