If you dress well and execute it properly it's not trashy.
Use Ticketmaster app to let you know what ducats are unsold and then move down to those seats midway through 1st quarter

SirWinston speaks volumes....... this is correct!
I have no issue with someone trying to get a better seat, however, if the guy is a fan of the other team and is a loud jackass type, I'll spring the Usher on his arse as quickly as I can prematurely ejaculate!

Why is this acceptable to so many when it's clearly wrong and not used in other comparable situations.
You're at lowes, you buy 5 bags of mulch, you don't take 10 of the premium bags, you take what you paid for.
You're at the gas station, you buy a small bag of ice, you don't take the large bag, you take what you paid for.
You're at Arby's you order a 1600 calorie sandwich and a cup of water, you don't fill it with soda, you take what you paid for.
Why when it comes to seats does all integrity go out the door? Isn't it rude to the person who paid a couple hundred dollars for their ticket next to you?

You sound miserable. You should live a little.

I'm taking my 4-5 cousins to a baseball game later this month.
I intentionally purchase cheap seat tickets to a game which will not come close selling out (weekday games, last place opponents...) just so I have the opportunity to move to a better seat after I arrive.
Not trashy, just being resourceful

Eh, so is a bank robber or a guy who steals your money out of the ATM instead of his, you only need to be able to rationalize it

If it's 21-0 in the 3rd I start looking for angry husbands and irritated wives and head on down. The guys who get the best seats are the ones who stay on top of it.

People sneaking down to better seats are smart.

For LSU football games, they could sell 2 sets of tickets. One for the 1st half for the fake fans who just want to say they went to the game and leave at halftime. Then one for the 2nd half for the real fans.
