Thats the worst part about the left since Trump won 5 years ago. Everyone on the other side has been painted as uneducated trash. The media and politicians have instructed them to talk down and intimidate the other side into submission. This is cheered on, encouraged, and is void of any repercussions. There is never a discussion. Its just a complete talking down to the other side.
Oh and by the way, they have all social media, big tech, big corporations, tv, entertainment, sports, and all govt agencies that can put the screws to you on their side to punish the dissenters. And they dont care one bit

A wise founder of our nation said something along the lines of "those willing to give up liberty for security (safety) are deserving of neither". You dismissed my criticism that drawing comparisons between current vaccination requirements in the US to concentration camps is outrageous by bringing up a completely different country and set of circumstances.
For posters who often criticize "fear porn", there sure are a lot of fetishes about the imminent threat of authoritarianism in America.

I pointed out that concentration camps as a tool to fight covid is real and is actually happening then you decided that was a strawman. I never said that it was happening here but rather that it is a card being played in a first world "western" country. This isn't difficult.

This is nothing new. This is why things become an issue during election year.
People are more likely to get out and vote when there are issues they feel impact them personally so when they are scared about something, they get to the poles because they just know that if their guy doesn't get elected then the country is doomed.
And this isn't something one side does and the other side doesn't. Its both sides. They want the white people to think the blacks are ready to riot to take control of this country and they want the blacks to think that white supremacy is growing and that they have to take action to the point that everyone feels that the one way they can make a difference is to go out and vote and if their guy wins they will take care of those problems.
That's why it would be best if everyone just ignored these politicians, all of these issues these "consultants" create and stop worrying about bullshite.
Fear is a great way to sell.

They have stood by and cheered on quarantines and shutdowns, which destroyed small businesses and working class jobs, all the while exempting large corporations like Wal-Mart, Target and fast food places from these orders. They have voted for and supported leftist authoritarians who have overseen the largest transfer of wealth from the middle class to the wealthiest Americans. So much for being for the poor and downtrodden.
Their irrational fear and paranoia has resulted in millions of Americans locked up for weeks and months at a time, creating a populace even more dependent upon their devices and social media than they were before the pandemic. Their big tech overlords surely appreciate this. They have subjected children to wearing masks 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with little care as to the long-term health consequences of prolonged oxygen obstruction.
They now want people to have to show vaccine passports to essentially live their lives, but showing an ID to vote is off the table. They called Trump a dictator, but have no problem with unelected bureaucrats in the CDC setting public policy and governors throughout the country ruling by executive fiat. But these rules only apply to the peasant class. Those who rule over us can flagrantly ignore the very rules they set for us, with no consequences whatsoever. The people who are responsible for the Covid madness around the world should be subjected to the same ending the French gave Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

Nancy Pelosi holds lavish fundraisers with hundreds of people sitting shoulder to shoulder without masks, and AOC gathers with college kid activists on the steps of the capital, masksless, until its time to take an official photo of the event where she dons her mask then immediately takes it off. These are the people telling you you need to hide in your house, masked up, and it's your job to report anyone doing otherwise. And for some reason, people will follow these decrees to a T because it gives them purpose in their empty, shallow, meaningless existences.
