You're going to love it. My agency purchased one and it's been funny watching its usage evolve. We are a bunch of gruff federal agents and everyone seemed to apprehensive to try it for the first several weeks. But over time that changed and now there's damn near a line to get on it.
It really is a game changer, especially in a climate that makes it difficult to be outdoors year-round. Spokane gets hammered in the winter and the Peloton makes working out and cycling fun when there's two feet of snow on the ground. I never thought I would be into this but I am.

Yeah I already joined the Peloton fb group as well. There are so many people in that group from all walks of life encouraging one another.

Jesus Christ, 3 grand for a bike that loses most functions if you drop out but it costs 500 per year after initial 3 grand!!
Seems an exercise routine with hookers and blow would be more fun for the $$

Man, my wife (no pics) loves spin and I told her to check out peleton as I already have a decent home gym setup. I’ve been wanting to surprise her with it but she told me she’d be pissed if I bought it bc it’s so damn expensive and she’d rather use the $ for vacation and other things. I’ve heard real good things about it. Might just bite the bullet eventually and pull the trigger on it. She upgraded my gym for my 30th birthday a couple years ago and it probably cost more than peleton so I figure what the hell.

My husband got his annual raise/bonus with his performance evaluation and is using some of his bonus for this. He mountainbikes so this will be his way to train for that at home instead of going to the gym. He's never used the app before.
I'm wayy more excited about the bike than he is. I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve today cause the bike is being delivered tomorrow
I've been struggling to get into a decent workout routine due to recent surgery, side effects from meds, etc. Always made excuses to not go to the gym and get on the bike there. Now...no more excuses. Can just walk to it and clip in and go. I already know I love the classes so I know I will love the bike.
Thankfully he prefers working out in the evening and I prefer early morning so we won't be fighting over bike time.

Yea I’d probably do it a couple times here or there but my wife was really into spin and stopped a couple months before our little girl was born. Just never got back into it. She has a disk issue with her back and spin was one of the things that she could actually do without having to modify or tone down the intensity too much. I keep telling her to get back into it bc she’s all pissed about doing keto and not losing any more weight even though she weighs less than she did before she got pregnant but she’s not a big fan of waking up early to be able to do it before work and shite.

I bought my wife one. She loves it and has done around 300 rides. I don't care for it because it is boring.

I have a bike I use for triathlon, a power meter (measures effort), and an indoor trainer. All in it is more than $3k, but this is a bike I can actually ride in a race. For like $12 a month you can join a program called Zwift. Connects your power meter to a virtual training world. You can race, join training rides with specific intervals, create your own training rides, etc.. I don't understand why the Pelaton bike needs to be so expensive.
If it wasn't for the fact that I was on a pretty expensive bike, I could be all in for $1500 and still have a bike I can actually ride and race with. Even have a monitor dedicated to riding online which cost me all of about $100 to build.
