LOL. Kinda dramatic aren't ya? Pitcher isn't exactly a great school and I don't ever remember it being one but a C rated school in one of the best systems in the state doesn't exactly make it "one of the worst schools in the state."
As for Beau Chene there were several homes sold for $6-800k there in the last couple months. Nothing wrong with Goodwill. I have been in there a few times and I usually see tightwad old white dudes or mandeville kids looking for vintage clothes or something for a costume.
My unlocked car was broken into when I lived in Abita back in like 08. They actually caught the guy and like someone said it was a 30ish white dude with a pill problem.

It wasn't all laughs. There was one occasion where I did something that upset him, and he called me out in front of the class, indirectly, with the most gut-wrenching, powerful, emotional monologue I've ever heard. Still affects me to this day.

We never experienced crime but we lived too close for comfort to Gardere (in Fairhill) so I just never felt safe out and about running errands and what not. And I worked right off of College and the interstate so that area was shady AF.

I boarded at SPS, then went to regular school there, got kicked out, and went to MHS. Enjoyed MHS much more. It was more relaxed, and could be as academically strenuous as you wanted it to be

I’ve spent the last few years living in a roughly 50-50 black/white lower middle class neighborhood. Really isn’t as bad as you think, we all look out for each other’s stuff. We’ve had talks before about who the occasional thieves that steal are and most of us agree it’s kids from a different neighborhood or city entirely

They let me finish out 8th grade boarding IIRC, and I got kicked out of school mid-way through 9th grade. I was lucky, because they just let me keep my grades, and I didn't have to get held back for missing a bunch of school

I did some absolutely wild shite at SPS boarding school, I never got kicked out though, you just have been off the wall
