I had some in Lewisburg go through my car when my wallet was left in it. All the credit cards and DL were neatly laying out on the passenger seat, all covered and aligned and shite.
Went back to ask my wife if she had been cleaning my car or something the night before (lol she doesn’t clean).
They didn’t even take my credit cards. They took the change out of the console. Idiots. Lmao

All went downhill after Katrina. Growing up, I always imagined myself living around the rest of my family and friends in Mandeville. I have zero desire to do so now. The only places I have considered are Madisonville, Bedico, and Ponchatoula. Yeah, I'd be near 1000 garbage arse neighborhoods, but at least I would be able to have some property and peace and quiet in a decent house.
Covington is great, but the only way I'd live there is if I worked in Covington. Mother frick that traffic.
Eta: I had some FHS guys break into my truck one night when I was in high school (98-02). I also had some drug addict MHS guys break into a lot of vehicles at a party in BR while I was in college

This is kind of hard for me to imagine. My college girlfriend grew up in Beau Chene. Surely that's all still high end real estate?
