Maybe I'm in the minority but by the time I truly feel like arse and would consider going though the hassle I assume I'm close enough to the end that taking some drug won't matter much.
I'm sure now I'll get some 10 day illness where I feel like pure death the entire time.

Do the world a favor and take paxlovid, remdesivir, and get vaccinated and boosted.

If she enjoys taking capsules, then have at it. Stuff is absolutely useless.

I’ve prescribed it a handful of times and haven’t seen side effects.
I only truly recommend it to folks 65+ or older folks with other comorbidities, for example, Diabetes, COPD, high blood pressure, etc.

I am a pharmacist as well. Misnomer is spot on. We don’t stock it anymore. It’s ineffective much like the vaccine.

It’s made by Pfizer, and their commercials say, “Got Covid? Paxlovid.” That’s really all I need to take it without asking anymore questions.

She needs massive dosages of semen. “Swallow if you want to live”!
Seriously, I’ve had Covid 3 times. Load up on vitamins B, C, D and Zinc. Take Emergen-C once a day. Cough up all you can. Try to keep it out of your chest. Sleep in a recliner to help congestion.

Love all the downvotes from the MSM zombies. Get your 6th booster sheep. “It’s freaking horse medicine”!!!!
Trust Fauci. He only has blowflies eating puppies faces off for “science”. Nothing evil about that.

I had my first bout with Covid about 6 weeks ago. My symptoms were real bad joint pain in my ankles, fluctuating temperature, cold sweats and fatigue.
Got Paxlovid after a call to my Dr. It really helped with the ankle pain and fever, but gave me the flying shits for the duration of taking it for the 5 days doseage.
If I get Covid again, I'll just deal with it without taking Paxlovid and going through that again. It was almost as bad at the prep for a colonoscopy, only 5 days worth.

but otherwise its a hard pass for me personally due to all the potential side effects...and cost.
Paxlovid is free. Cost is not an issue We had good results from it. My parents, my son, and I all recovered very quickly with only the bad taste as a side effect. The taste is really horribe!
Tamiflu...My daughter (no pics) took it very quickly after testing positive for flu a few years ago and her flu only lasted 2 days as opposed to 3-4 and up for most that year. If cuts off a day of me being sick, I'm happy.
Tamiflu also worked really well for my puppy with parvo 9 years ago.
