Well then good thing acute gout usually has other signs than your sissy crying.

Serious?

The average Louisianain's diet is the worst for gout.

Shellfish, alcohol, organ meats (boudin, rice dressing, chicken gizzards, etc)
You don't have to be fat to have gout. You may just live in Louisiana.

I'm not on pain meds, and don't care for pain meds. With that being said, frick off, you pompous arse. We get it, you're better than us and a half step below God himself.

Thanks for addicting America to opioids! Hope the free pens and lunches were worth it.

Well doc, you may or may not know this but I have about 3 to 4 hours notice from my body that I am going to have a severe attack. So if I go to you saying that my knee is killing me and it's only slightly swollen, not too warm, and still normally colored, just realize that I am asking you to write a script for 5 days of pain killers and steroids because the NSAIDS are a fricking joke.

How do I know this? Because it's my body and no matter how much schooling you've had, you haven't lived a single day in my shoes.

Sorry I sound so emotional but idk how many times I've had to go home and suffer because some dude wrote me a script for naproxen and allopurinol. Like I don't already have the allopurinol and like Alieve is going to remotely touch gout pain.

Just realize that doctors have a bad rep of being know it alls for a reason.

When I tell you it hurts like two MF'ers and you want to continue to gouge in and probe, how about if I hold your balls while you fricking "lightly probe" so we can keep things equal?

Masochist douchebags, and whatnot.

I have.. But what about the people who truly need it. I really feel like you shouldn't take this medication everyday. But some times I can't even get out of bed because the pain in my neck that radiates into the side of my head. Ibuprofen and a 10mg oxycodone helps me.

On the flipside, I'm tired of being treated like a drug seeking junkie every time I'm in legitimate pain.

Those people OP is talking about ruin it for everyone.

Well since bonuses are tied to Press Ganey scores and patient satisfaction yeah. (The Doctor was Rude means I didn't get my Norco). And your boy, Ted Kennedy, took care of the lunches. You remember him, got drunk, killed a girl and went home.
Of course he was a good lawyer, only got caught cheating once in law school

You probably one of those doctors that give a prostate exam when the patient came in for tonsillitis. I haven't been to a doctor in 15 years. I can't stand the long waits, I have to be in serious pain to get felt up by someone who won't give me a happy ending.
