While certainly not a main issue right now, this creates a clusterf--- at that intersection. I would hazard a guess that until inspectors can get the proper access they will have to close Canal as well as Rampart for some time to confirm there is no risk of collapse in other directions as well as evacuating the buildings over to Burgundy.

Went to school with her. Glad her people made out ok.

What are the odds this is the fault of a subcontractor who was a "forced hire" to keep the right people happy?
What a ridiculous question to ask

Definitely not the biggest concern, like you said - but at least the Saints game tomorrow is in Jacksonville and not at the Superdome.
Also, and again a very minor concern- but a lot of baws who were looking forward to going to/watching the LSU game are going to be busy working on this all day and night...

Haven’t read through this thread yet but has there been any verification on the contractor?

Kailas is the developer.

That’s what I thought. Not their first rodeo.

Hearing alot about a pool being installed causing this, sounds like a rumor though.

Is Latoya in town? Got the Governor, Fire Chief, Homeland Security talking on Fox 8 but no Mayor

Concrete forming, placing and shoring was most likely subcontracted.

Homeland Security?

I think she’s in Copenhagen

Thanks deleting these posts now.
Why would you delete those posts if your son could help determine who is at fault?
Wouldn’t you want that person in a similar circumstance to help you?

Rispone needs an attack ad quick blaming this on JBE policies

Sure. But doesn’t matter. If his son said numerous times just last night that the building looked liked it was bulging, that is some extremely important information given the timing of this collapse.

They can always subpoena chicken for the site logs. It’ll be ok.

Unless it isn't connected at all. Looking at the video the collapse started at the top.
If the kid did see it then the blood is on his hands for not reporting it.
