Again, do these schools restrict these kids political beliefs with dress codes?
No.

Not what happened
Damn close to what happened. I lived in Stockwell Place at the time and was surrounded by families who had kids in the schools. Didn't read all the way through the article to realize this was ANOTHER TIME that Bossier schools got sued for religious reasons. My bad.
Gist of post is accurate. Bossier pushes religion in public schools like they are an arm of the church and they don't give a frick about if its legal or not.

Depends.
A school can implement neutral dress codes and a student can be punished for violating said code even if the violation is political in nature. For example, a school has a policy that prohibits any writing on clothing and a student who wears a "MAGA" shirt is punished for violating the code - no problem because the prohibition is neutral and equal.
But if the a school implemented a policy that said students cannot wear clothing with political messages, or, even worse, certain political messages, they'd have a big problem.

No they don't. Deal with it.
What sort of legal basis do you have for this?
Do you believe standing for the national anthem is a prerequisite for playing in a sport? Are there any other prerequisites (i.e. pledge of allegiance, political party, etc)?

Are you asking about official school uniforms? Or school dress codes in areas that do not require a uniform?
In general, schools can not prohibit cross necklaces and headscarves for example. However, the courts have ruled that school uniforms do not infringe upon student rights.

The law of unreasonable anger arising from an inability to comprehend.

And where are you getting this?

They have to adhear to the rules of the school. If the school had a dress code for red and purple collared shirts, you can't just wear a yellow one.

That isn't even remotely similar.

Yes it is. It's a school rule.

You literally have no clue what you're talking about.

Fify.
Pretty sure there were rules against protesting the Vietnam war for Tinker as well. The court ruled against the school there.

So in some cases it is ok to infringe on their rights, but in other cases it's not.

Read over the court cases me and Moss are referencing, it'll give you a better idea about what rules the school can constitutionally enforce.

the biggest variable is this being an extracurricular activity
regulating student expression is one thing, but regulating student participation i ECAs is something different

I made that point a few pages back.

Nope. They have to follow to the rules. Stay salty though, the whole team will be standing, as they should, while you all will still be here crying about MUH RIGHTS.
