Paris installs open air urinals so men won't pee in the streets

The “uritrottiers,” which is the combined French word for urinal and pavement, will be filled with straw in order to stop the stench of urine. The straw from the urinals will then be collected and used as compost, according to a statement from the city.
A urinal located near the Notre Dame cathedral and along the Seine River has particularly angered critics.

They have these in amsterdam. We were sitting on a canal and then started to hear something and realized we were sitting right next to one. Kind of disgusting

Women want them removed. They state you don't see woman squatting everywhere peeing in the streets so men shouldn't have the luxury of going on the sidewalk
