Good students/families are more important than good teachers when it comes to making a quality educational environment.
I pay to send my kids to private school bc of the other kids and good families they will be around much more than because of the teachers there.

Better benefits and lower requirements to work for the Govt.
Many of the teachers at my kids school are retired public school teachers. They can retire with a full pension around 45.

I know several who do this. One was a teacher at the Catholic school, but left to go public. It's about the $$$$$.
Most of the time teachers aren't the problems with schools. Mostly it's about shitty parents sending their animals to the school with no discipline and not giving a damn about the education they are supposed to be getting.

My kids go to the same school where I teach, and I taught both of them. They’re both headed to great colleges.
It’s not the same, though, in every school district, and not every good teacher is lucky enough to land a great assignment.
You lack critical thinking skills.
