Watching the show “Fringe” which is about parallel universes (RIP Lance Reddick). I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of a parallel universe. Do you believe they exist?

It would seem difficult to come to any other conclusion

The whole mass parallel universe thing seems like a semblance of religion for atheist who are too “cool” or “above” it.

Instead of infinite possibilities it’s probably less than 25.

I just don’t think it’s all that complex, if it was it wouldn’t work properly.

Seems like a complete fallacy for folks who have no direction because they don’t believe in anything.

It’s only desirable because it’s “unbound”, these also seem like fallacies for folks who have no accountability.

If its all random and doesn’t matter, then it feels like it’s just an idea that breeds a greater lack of empathy.

I used to muse about it

Then I realized the only one that matters is the one here. Where I don't matter. So much as I'm just an insignificant bit of matter, a mote in a moment.

But I matter to the ones that love me, and that I love. And that's all that matters.

If a parallel universe is anything like a parallel parking spot, there won't be any women in there.

No. Just this one in the ever present now. There is not enough energy to support multiples.

We’re not that complex. Folks want to believe in something like this so they don’t have to care as much in the here and now.

Colorful escapism.

Yes, quantum mechanics is just a hollow refuge for physicists who are too cool for Jesus.

Don’t be fricking ridiculous. There’s no such thing as parallel universes. However, perpendicular universes absolutely exist.

What? Our galaxy is racing through space at millions of miles an hour. Just attach something to it.

Quantum mechanics has produced some of the coolest thought experiments.

I like learning about quantum mechanics, but I don't believe in the multiverse. Physicists can't even agree on a standard quantum theory at this point.
